Hatfield Park
Supporting British Craft & Design for over 52 years
Join one of Britain’s leading craft festivals
Living Crafts is a leading and original UK craft festival and has celebrated the very best of British craft and design since 1974, bringing exceptional designer-makers, artists and artisan producers together with a loyal audience of passionate craft lovers and discerning shoppers.
Set within the beautiful historic parkland of Hatfield House, Living Crafts is a four-day celebration of creativity, craftsmanship and independent making - offering exhibitors a unique opportunity to showcase their work, meet new customers and generate sales. From exquisite, original handcrafted pieces to creative workshops, live demonstrations, delicious artisan food, live music and family activities - it’s an inspiring and unforgettable day out for everyone.
An audience that comes specifically for craft
Living Crafts attracts thousands of visitors specifically for the craft experience, creating an engaged environment for exhibitors to showcase and sell their work.
Our audience is predominantly based across London and the Home Counties, with visitors travelling from across the UK and internationally. They appreciate quality, originality and craftsmanship and actively seek out unique products and independent British makers.
Unlike events where craft is an additional attraction, Living Crafts visitors come specifically for a dedicated craft festival, with discovery, shopping and meeting makers at the heart of their experience.
Carefully curated. Proudly British.
We are committed to creating a high-quality showcase for the very best of British making. Every application is carefully assessed to ensure a balanced and inspiring mix of disciplines, skills and products.
All work must be handmade in the UK to a high standard and quality, with a strong focus on originality and authenticity. Imported and mass-produced products will not be accepted. This protects the integrity of Living Crafts while ensuring independent makers can showcase their work in an environment free from mass-produced or imported goods. Please ensure that you fully understand these conditions before deciding to apply.
Most importantly, visitors can meet the people behind the work, discover the skills and stories behind each piece, discuss private commissions and buy directly from the maker.

Exhibition Areas
Living Crafts will use clearspan marquees with a wall height of 2.3m. This will provide a light and airy exhibition space, great ambience and excellent visitor accessibility creating the best possible shopping experience. The size, shape and internal layout of the marquees will be confirmed nearer the date of the event. The flooring within the craft marquees will be coir matting which will extend into the entrance porches. There are options for shell schemes or non-shell scheme exhibition areas - exhibitors selecting a non-shell scheme option will be required to build their own freestanding displays within a defined area (which will be clearly marked on the matting) and provide their own backdrop in white, black or grey colour.
Outside areas, between 3.0m - 6.0m wide and with a depth of 4.0m, are available on the showground for you to pitch your own heavy duty gazebo or tent. These are available as frontage only or as an island site with all round access. All outside areas can be provided with a power supply.
