Living Crafts takes place in the stunning parkland of Hatfield House, home to the Earls of Salisbury for over 400 years. The glorious West Gardens and the Old Palace will also be open to visitors for an additional entry charge. Please check the Hatfield House website for details of opening times and entry prices.

Yes, tickets can be purchased on the day but it's cheaper to buy your tickets in advance via our website 'Tickets' page. When booking, simply select the day you would like to attend and book. You'll also be able to purchase workshop tickets too when they go live.

Dogs are welcome at Living Crafts, however, they are not allowed in any of the craft marquees (except for assistance dogs) and must be kept on a lead at all times.

Yes, you can buy delicious artisan food from a variety of our food and drink vendors at the festival. Choose from wood-fired pizza, hog roast, gourmet hot dogs and burgers, pasta, duck wraps, toasties, churros, crepes... and a whole lot more! There are also vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options available from most of our vendors.

Simply book workshops via our website 'Discovery Workshop' page where you can see a wide range of pre-bookable creative workshops. There will be some drop-in sessions available on the day but places go fast, so would suggest you book your place in advance.

Many of our exhibitors will be demonstrating their crafts around the showground and in the pavilions, and they're ready to answer any questions you may have. Look out for the glass-blowing theatre and our Masterclass Pavilion. You will also be able to see stone carving, different types of woodworking, potters at their wheel, leatherworkers, artists painting, glass lampwork and weaving.

Living Crafts is all about discovery and learning - from hands-on workshops, to watching live demonstrations, and Q&A with the master craftspeople, there's lots to discover. There will also be a Family Zone where children and their parents can relax, take a breather and have fun with some of our family activities. Remember, children must be supervised at all times when taking part in activities. It's a great way to try something new together.

There is live music provided by local jazz bands in the bandstand. There will also be various talks provided by Heritage Crafts to showcase traditional craft techniques and processes.

Yes, all of our 200 exhibitors will be offering beautiful handcrafted items for sale. Many also take private commissions for bespoke pieces of work. This is your chance to shop direct from the maker and take home something unique and special.
