Welcome to The 2008 Festival of Living Crafts, Art, Design & Innovation website.
Living Crafts, the largest show of its kind in Europe, attracts tens of thousands of visitors each year and is an event not to be missed when literally hundreds of craftsmen and women from all corners of the British Isles come to show their work. Living Crafts has traditionally been held on parkland in front of Hatfield House – a beautiful setting but with limitations. This year we are moving to a new purpose built showground just a couple of minutes walk away which has enabled us to take all the elements of this superb event and rearrange them to give you the best possible experience. The additional space has let us offer the widest ever variety of lectures, hands-on workshops, spectacular demonstrations and masses of entertainment to appeal to all ages. As a seasoned visitor or a brand new enthusiast, we have taken the greatest care to ensure that your visit will be packed with fresh experiences and new ideas.
