Around 130 designer-makers from across the U.K., selected for the originality and quality of their craft, will be showcasing the very best of British craftsmanship. The event features a huge range of contemporary work including designer jewellery, ceramics, studio glass, toys, soaps, fashions, festive decorations and wreaths.
This is the perfect opportunity to choose handmade original gifts for all the family from special presents and personal commissions to simple stocking fillers, while enjoying the seasonal atmosphere in the beautiful courtyards. The sounds of Christmas hand bells, harp playing and street theatre will bring the spirit of the season to life and the colonnades of the Great Court will be adorned with twinkling Christmas trees. Festive aromas from the specialist food and drink producers in ‘Tastes of Christmas’ will tempt you with traditional Christmas treats and more unusual foodie ideas.  Admission includes entrance to the magnificent formal gardens and parkland in their winter glory and there is ample free parking. A magical experience awaits in the Palace which will be decorated for the season, celebrating ‘A Christmas Journey – The Story of The Three Kings’. Combined tickets can be purchased in advance or on the day. A visit to Living Crafts for Christmas is the perfect day out for all the family to celebrate the festive season.
