The Workshop marquee is the heart of the workshop programme and always buzzing with creativity. Discover a fantastic range of hands-on workshops, all available to pre-book, plus a limited number of places available on the day for drop-in activities.
The Arts marquee is your destination for quality artist materials and supplies, including UK made paints and calligraphy essentials. It’s also the meeting point for watercolour and oil painting workshops.
Live Demonstrations
Glassblowing Theatre offers a fascinating opportunity to see the art of glassblowing brought to life. Watch the Burke family showcase their exceptional skills through captivating demonstrations throughout the day.
Live demonstrations also include traditional blacksmithing, leather working, woodturning, woodcarving, willow weaving, rope making, raku firing and so much more.
Watch traditional crafts come to life through inspiring demonstrations, then roll up your sleeves and have a go yourself with a range of hands-on experiences.
Arts in Herts
Art in Herts marquee is a lively meeting place where you can connect with amateur art and craft groups from Hertfordshire and beyond, discover new creative interests and even find your next community!
National and regional organisations showcase traditional skills including spinning, weaving, marquetry, quilting, embroidery, machine knitting and fly dressing. Watch skilled woodcarvers and lacemakers at work, or visit the International Feltmakers’ Association and have a go at feltmaking yourself.
