Camping Rules at Hatfield Park

You are welcome to use the camping facilities near the Queen Elizabeth Oak showground on arrival after 10:00am on Wednesday prior to the event (set-up day) until 12.00pm on Monday after the event. The camping area is ‘Thirteen Acres’, a grass field near the showground. Please site your caravan or tent within this designated area only. The temporary showers and toilets located nearby are open throughout the event days (including set-up and breakdown days). Hatfield Park is the private residence of Lord and Lady Salisbury and for the benefit of all the exhibitors using these facilities, please abide by the following rules:

Camping Rules

1) Use the one way system around the park in front of Hatfield House that is in force at all times.

2) Please unhitch your caravan in the camping area before returning to the exhibition site to unload and set-up your display.

3) Camping is only allowed in the designated, roped off area within the Thirteen Acres field.

4) Please ensure that a 3.0m gap is left between all tents, caravans and vehicles to create a fire break and adhere to fire regulations.

5) Barbecues and fires are not allowed in Hatfield Park at any time. Any breach of this rule is taken very seriously by the Estate.

6) If you would like a restful evening and a peaceful night, please use the quiet zone. For the benefit of all campers, please ensure that noise is kept to a minimum after 11:00pm.

7) Between 6:00pm and 10:00pm the only Estate access will be via Station Lodge, opposite Hatfield Railway Station and you must show your Exhibitor lanyard in order to re-enter the Park. This gate will be unmanned and locked each night from 10:00pm until 7:00am.

8) Once the showground has been cleared each evening, for security reasons, you will be unable to return to the showground area bounded by the pedestrian barriers.

9) When leaving the camping area, please dispose of all rubbish in the skip provided. Please ensure that no lithium batteries are disposed off in the skip as this may be a fire risk - please take these with you when you leave the campsite.

10) Dogs are welcome in the park but please ensure that they are kept on a lead and under control at all times.

11) The Venue Site Owners and the Organisers cannot accept any responsibility for the persons using the campsite, their vehicles, caravans, tents and equipment.

12) Please do not enter the woods to the west of the campsite which are private grounds.

13) In case of an overnight emergency, the telephone number for security should be collected from the Organisers once you have arrived on site​
