Stay Safe - Covid 19 Information

Living Crafts has been awarded the Visit England We’re Good to Go mark to acknowledge that the necessary precautions have been put in place to ensure the Living Crafts Event is as safe as possible for everyone involved. We are continually monitoring and responding to the evolving Covid-19 pandemic and the following measures may change as new Government guidance is given. Please keep an eye on our social media for updates.

We ask exhibitors to:

  • Provide hand sanitiser for themselves and their customers
  • Wear face coverings within their exhibition area, all tents and enclosed spaces
  • Provide a counter service wherever possible to avoid shoppers entering the exhibition area
  • Price work clearly with visible tags to avoid excess handling of products
  • Take card payments and go cashless wherever possible
  • Keep the Covid separation gaps between exhibition areas clear

We ask visitors to:

  • Pre-book your admission ticket via the website for safe, scanned, fast track entry whenever possible (daily visitor numbers may be limited)
  • Follow current government advice on the ‘Rule of 6’ restricting interaction with people outside your household
  • Do not visit if a member of your household has had any Covid-19 symptoms in the last 14 days
  • Wash your hands before and during your visit. We also encourage you to bring your own hand sansitiser
  • Wear face coverings within the pavilions and covered areas (this is compulsory unless medically exempt), and outside elsewhere on the showground (voluntary but encouraged strongly)
  • Keep a 2m distance in any queues and at least a 1m gap when walking around the showground
  • If the weather is inclement, please bring suitable clothing or an umbrella as space within the pavilions may be limited

Some of the additional measures we are putting in place to keep everyone safe at this year’s show:

  • An established one-way route around the showground and through large tents to help with social distancing
  • Extra staff to help manage visitor flow around the larger Living Crafts pavilions with exhibition areas spaced apart
  • Frequent cleaning and disinfecting of all tables, chairs & benches around the showground
  • Additional toilet units which will be continuously monitored and cleaned by an attendant
  • All stallholders and shoppers will be required to wear face coverings on the Living Crafts showground
  • Provision of hand sanitising stations around the showground, including at the show entrance, toilet blocks, food areas and the entrance to each large pavilion
  • Easy access rubbish bins so that visitors do not have to touch the lids
  • An online Show Guide, that can be downloaded as a PDF
  • Large Showground maps and information points displayed at strategic locations

We know Living Crafts will look and feel slightly different in 2021, but we want to assure you that we are doing everything we can to keep our visitors, exhibitors and staff safe. Please be aware of the signage around the showground and follow accordingly and be mindful of your own safety and of those around you. We want everyone to stay safe and have a memorable and enjoyable day out at Living Crafts.
