Living Crafts, the largest show of its kind in Europe, attracts thousands of visitors each day and is an event not to be missed. The range of crafts is enormous with literally hundreds of designer-makers from across the British Isles. With stunning jewellery, ceramics and art to beautiful fashions, glass and leather, you'll be spoilt for choice. There will be a wide variety of lectures, hands-on workshops and spectacular demonstrations appealing to all ages. Whether you are a crafts connoisseur or simply looking for a great family day out, Living Crafts is an experience not to be missed and full of activity. Try an oil painting class, join a stone carving workshop, create your own hand-pulled print or have a go at spinning and weaving. Join an oil painting taster session or listen to one of our guest speakers as they bring a painting to life before your eyes. From pyrography to papermaking, these are just some of the many exciting activities to experience and crafts to try at Living Crafts.
Entertainment is provided by jazz bands, together with special art & craft activities and storytelling for children. Over the weekend you can relax to the sounds of a steel band, a brass band and enjoy watching some country dancing.
Parking is adjacent to the showground and historic Hatfield House with its beautiful gardens and the Old Palace, childhood home of Queen Elizabeth I, is only a few minutes walk awayor short ride on the free shuttle bus.
