Visitor Information
Disabled Visitors
Parking for disabled drivers is right next to the entrance to the event. The majority of the show is on cut grass and gently sloping parkland and all the exhibition areas are accessible by wheelchairs. There are temporary disabled W.C.'s on the showground and permanent disabled W.C.’s in the Old Palace Yard near the café.
Three Counties Mobility from St. Albans will be providing a free electric scooter and wheelchair loan service for Living Crafts and if you would like to take advantage of this offer, please call 01727 866127 to make a reservation.
Parking
The main public car park is sited on grass right next to the showground. A free shuttle bus service will be running continuously to and from the showground entrance to Hatfield House, the Stables Courtyard Café and the Old Palace.
Refreshments
A range of refreshments are available to suit all tastes. Temporary catering facilities at various points around the showground will offer a varied selection of delicious refreshments and the permanent restaurant and café near Hatfield House will provide hot lunches and drinks.
Mother & Baby
A Mother and Baby tent is available with baby changing facilities run by the Welwyn Garden City branch of the National Childbirth Trust.
Park and Gardens
Admission includes access to the beautiful gardens to the west of the House which include the Wilderness areas and the beautiful Herb and Knot Gardens. These gardens are maintained entirely organically in the style that reflects their Jacobean origins. Visitors are also free to explore over 1,000 acres of parkland with nature trails and woods. There is a children’s play area designed for use by young children under parental supervision which incorporates a pleasant picnic area although this is not available to those visitors with dogs.
Hatfield House
Hatfield House will be open for visitors during Living
Crafts from 12.00 midday until 4.00 pm for a small additional charge. For further information about Hatfield House, please visit their

Dogs
Hatfield Park is extensive with acres of accessible parkland. Dogs
are welcome but must be kept under control when on the exhibition site
and
in the immediate vicinity of Hatfield House. Dogs are not permitted in
the children's play area and picnic site and must be kept on the lead
in some of the well signed areas sensitive to wildlife.
