There are plenty of creative activities going on at Living Crafts, from oak swill basket making to bodging and we have highlighted some of these features below to whet your appetite...

Pre-Bookable Workshops

A programme of courses are being held during Living Crafts that can be booked in advance through the tickets page of this website. They have been listed by the day so choose when you would like to visit and reserve your place. They are being run be experts in the fields and will make your day extra special. Pre-bookable places may also be available on the day but subject to space. Don’t forget to buy your admission tickets too!

Felt Making Workshop

All courses are for adults except Sunday afternoon
Felt Mat - Thursday 11:00am. Explore colour and texture with wool and silk fibres.
Felt Flowers - Thursday 1:30pm. Learn how to make different kinds of felt flowers.
3D Felt Vessels - Friday 11:00am, Saturday 1:30pm, Children on Sunday 1:30pm (Aged 7 + accompanied by an adult). Make a felt bowl or vessel using a resist technique.
Felt Coin Purse - Friday 1:30pm, Saturday 1:30pm, Sunday 11:00am. Make a simple felt coin purse using wet felting vessel techniques.
Felt Oven Glove - Saturday 11:00am. Easy to make felted oven glove.

Chocolate Workshop

Chocolate Made Easy

Tutor: Yvonne Everest
Create Belgium chocolate flowers and hearts set in a flower pot (minimum weight 130g) using freehand techniques. You will discover how to mould chocolate in two different ways, use transfers, pipe, decorate and more. Thursday - Saturday. For adults and mature children.
